Customer Support Engineer


Blakell Europlacer Group designs and manufactures highly sophisticated equipment for use in the Electronics Industries, we operate on an international level and are currently seeking a Customer Support Engineer to be based in the UK.

This position shall cover not only our own product ranges but offers the potential to work on other high end equipment, both domestically and worldwide.

The successful applicant would possess the following skills & attributes:

A Good level of diagnostic abilities including, computer literacy, electro-mechanical & electronics knowledge using circuit diagrams and schedules, the ability to use fault finding equipment is also a requirement. Experience within the Capital Equipment industry would be ideal, however we are looking for talent and can provide a level of training to the right candidate.

With our Equipment installed within many 24/7 facilities worldwide, a high level of self motivation and discipline is needed to ensure our customers are on-line 100% of the time.

Process & Product Engineer


Blakell Europlacer provides high level process equipment and automation to the UK’s Electronics industries, and is currently looking for an experienced Engineer to join our Support team.

In addition to a good level of Engineering knowledge and experience, the role requires a good level of practical Product and Process awareness within SMT, in a combination of the following processes..

•    SMT Reflow
•    SMT Wavesolder
•    Conformal Coating
•    AOI Inspection
•    Xray / 3D Inspection
•    SMT Selective Soldering

The ability to demonstrate sound knowledge in a number of these processes is important, as a key function of the position is to add value to our Customers in the equipment and support we provide. Where an individual has good experience of a couple of processes, and is capable of developing a high level expertise in other, training may be provided.

The role shall be based in the UK at our facility in Poole, Dorset with an element of UK and International travel.
