Speedprint Technology is long established privately owned UK based company, operating internationally in the development, manufacture and support of highly sophisticated capital equipment to the global Electronics markets. Due to further expansion, we are looking for an individual to join our Manufacturing team based in Poole, Dorset.
The position is based within a busy, clean hi-tech environment producing complex automated equipment and incorporating leading edge technologies. The role requires a motivated & energetic individual who enjoys a rewarding, flexible, hands on job and possesses a combination of the following abilities and experience –
- Strong material control skills and responsibility
- Appreciation of stock value and material transaction processes such as works order & shipping
- Inventory management & stock control – ERP Management systems etc
- Awareness or experience of LEAN manufacturing systems – KANBAN / Cell manufacture etc would be an advantage
- IT Literate & high-level administration – Use of Microsoft tools to process and evaluate data
Self-motivation and common sense are key requirements, as the role requires a level of flexibility and for the individual to positively influence and develop our material management operation.

Software Development Engineer
Speedprint Technology designs, manufactures and distributes highly sophisticated capital equipment for use in the global Electronics Industries. We operate on an international level and due to our continued growth are currently seeking a Software Development Engineer join our R&D team.
Based within the UK at our modern facility in Poole, Dorset the role would suit an individual keen to develop their career through the development of products and services within a highly technical and demanding industry.
Ideally applicants will have experience of Machine control systems, although experienced software engineers from other backgrounds or talented junior engineers keen to learn and able to demonstrate solid basic software skills may also be considered.
The successful applicant would possess experience in a number of the following Languages:
- Experience of real-time machine control software
- Visual Basic .NET
- Embedded software
In addition, the ability to demonstrate any of the following skills & attributes:
- SQL development
- User interface & graphic development
- Vision systems
- Experience in High speed / reliability applications
Candidates should posses the ability to work within a small development team, working flexibly and communicating clearly on existing and new development projects as they arise. Being part of a dynamic environment and being responsible for specific projects, individuals will require a high degree of self motivation.

Electro / Mechanical Assembler
Increased production demands means we are seeking to employ an experienced Electro / Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing operation in Poole, Dorset.
Being part of the manufacturing team producing market leading capital equipment for the Global SMT Industry, the position is one of responsibility in ensuring our sophisticated electro/mechanical systems are suitably assembled to the Customers requirements.
The role would suit someone with good experience of Electro Mechanical Assembly, possibly with some machine build experience too. However, more importantly is a good appreciation of assembly techniques and sound technical common sense.
Individuals should show a combination of the following skills / attributes:
- Electronic or Mechanical Assembly
- Use of measurement systems ie DVM / Vernier / Height Gauges
- Pneumatic assembly
- Cable harness wiring
Importantly, any individual who can demonstrate willingness, attention to detail and good general engineering skills are also welcome to apply, as training may be provided to the right individual.
