Keen Interest from Road Show Attendees in Minneapolis
In October, Speedprint supported its distributor Production Automation Corp at a Road Show aimed at manufacturers across the Midwest. A dozen attendees took time out to visit PAC’s Minneapolis venue and take advantage of one-on-one demos.
The outcome was exceptionally positive, as is often the case with these personal events. Speedprint President, Mark Brawley, expects several orders in 2017. “Some were not on our radar, so that’s great news,” says Mark. “A couple will be orders that will now close as a result of convincing demos, with a customer choosing Speedprint to replacing older competitive printers from Ekra.” Another attendee, currently using competitive platforms, was intrigued with ADu+ and all the possibilities that presents.
On top of these direct streams of interest, the PAC team with help from Speedprint “planted a few seeds”, including Speedprint’s well-received 50-5-5 proposition – that delivers a Series 700 machine for just $50k on a 5-year lease plan that takes advantage of Section 179 of the US IRS tax code for investment deductions plus a full 5-year warranty.
