The Speedprint APEX Expo booth #1951 will feature a pair of its flagship SP710AVi precision screen printers and the mid-sized SP1220 long board platform. The company will use the show to promote the ART of printing – a statement that encapsulates the famed Accuracy, Reliability and Technology of all Speedprint printers.
Thanks to its optimum balance of long board capability and a moderate platform footprint, the SP1220 printer is proving highly popular with manufacturers in the US. This is the first showing of the SP1220 at a US trade event.
The SP1220’s 48-inch board printing capability handles the majority of long boards found in production across the US and Europe. For the few manufacturers who must deal with even larger circuit boards, Speedprint’s offer the SP1550, which extends board handling capability to 61-inches in length.
One of the flagship SP710AVi screen printers will be fitted with Speedprint’s ADu+ (Automatic Dispense unit), giving manufacturers the ability to dispense paste and glue inside the printer and offering the potential to eliminate a full process step and machine from an SMT assembly line. That machine will also feature the award-winning S-Track traceability solution – an integrated barcode label feeder and placement system that provides traceability right from the very start of the SMT assembly process.
“All our printer platforms major on print precision and repeatability, which is the justification behind our 20µm at 6-Sigma accuracy claims,” explains Speedprint President Mark Brawley. “In addition, our exceptional equipment build-quality and robust engineering technology lead directly to outstanding reliability, and that’s why all our machines come with an unmatched 5-year warranty.
