Online industry publication, Circuitnet, asked key figures in the surface mount assembly industry to share their insights, plans and aspirations for 2019. Mark Brawley, President of Speedprint, offered his perspective for the forthcoming year.

“Speedprint is projecting another year of growth in 2019, fueled by a combination of organic and new opportunities. Across the board, our customers are busy taking advantage of the strong economy and in many cases expanding capacity.

“Technically, we continue our focus on adding value within the screen printer footprint. At the APEX Expo, we will highlight new dispense applications enabled by our award-winning Advanced Dispense Unit Plus. Pin in Paste, Glob Top, Dam & Fill are just a few of the applications that will be on display.

“The Speedprint value extends into the long board market. We offer print solutions for the smallest and the largest board sizes found in the market, ranging from those less than 2 inches in dimensions right up to 61-inch long boards. With our long board platforms now part of the Speedprint portfolio, we are positioned to significantly grow our share of the LED long board market.

“Our 2019 plan calls for adding engineering, service and sales personnel to the Speedprint team globally. One item that remains unchanged will be our industry-leading 5-year parts warranty across all our printer platforms.”
